Sharing Christmas: A Festive Feast for our Community

After our Christmas services were over St. Faith’s was once again spreading festive cheer and ensuring no one in our community was forgotten this Christmas by providing a free Christmas lunch to anyone alone, or unable to cook.

Revd Kyla Sorensen, Rector at St. Faith’s said: “It’s a heartwarming initiative designed to bring companionship and a sense of belonging.”

Thanks to the incredible generosity of local volunteers and donors, a traditional Christmas meal with all the trimmings was provided for over 50 people of all ages. Lunch was followed by a Christmas quiz, a free raffle and a Christmas carol singalong, bringing people some much-needed Christmas cheer, giving them the opportunity to make new friends and share laughter and good food.

The event is now in its third year since Revd Kyla and her husband Peter moved to King’s Lynn. “Our volunteers were amazing. It emphasises the power of church and community and the difference small acts of kindness can make during the holiday season".
