Join us at 8.30am on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for Daily Prayer from Common Worship. We pray for everyone who is mentioned on the Weekly Leaflet by name, for our community and for ourselves.

It is really very special to be sitting together in the chapel touched by the early morning light through the celebrated Corn Window. Everyone is welcome to come along. Daily Prayer red books are provided and page numbers and responses are announced throughout so you won’t lose your place.

Monday Evenings at 7pm at the Minster and St. Faith’s Community Hub: Soup supper followed by study using free resource “Set our Hearts on Fire”.

This will be our 4th year running this very popular gathering so do join us: 23rd Feb at the Minster/ 2nd March at the Hub/ 9th March at the Minster, 16th March at the Hub, 23rd March at the Minster. Sessions are free but donations towards Bishop’s Lent Appeal are welcome.

Tuesday Mornings at 10-11.30am in St. Faith’s Community Hub (24th Feb, then 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th March) Contemplative Lent group sessions will be loosely based on the book ‘The Things He Carried’ by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell. For many of the sessions you will be asked to bring an object along which may help in our contemplation (something made of wood for the first session on February 24th).

Drop in after the 10am service for a hot drink and some company. Our welcome will be as warm as our drinks! Everyone is welcome.

The community hub at St. Faith’s is open on Wednesday Mornings 10-12noon for Foodbank collection, coffee and a chat.

Vouchers are obtained via the Trussell Trust and individuals and families are offered a warm welcome in a non-judgemental and safe space when they collect their parcels.

The Forget-me-not Lunch Club is a lunch club for the over 60s that meets weekly on a Wednesday in Gaywood Church Rooms at 12noon. (Term time only) Guests have the opportunity to meet old friends (and make some new ones!) and enjoy some delicious, home-made food.

For people with Dementia, their families, friends and carers. Relaxed socialising with tea and cake...and plenty of chatting! Booking Essential

St. Faith's Prayer Shawl Ministry has been active for 15 years. The members meet fortnightly to create and distribute shawls as a tangible sign of God's love and care. These shawls are made with prayers and blessings woven into each stitch, and are given to individuals in need of comfort, support, or a reminder of God's love.

Shawls are prayerfully crocheted, knitted, with love woven into every stitch. Handmade cards to accompany the shawls are hand stitched. The shawls are blessed in church and then given to recipients free of charge. The shawls are intended for those who are ill, bereaved, or need support in any way.
The ministry is open to anyone who would like to join in, whether they can knit, crochet, or simply offer prayers.
This deeply prayerful ministry goes beyond the church community. Shawls are also given to those outside of the
church who may benefit from the love and prayers.

Those who receive shawls often report feeling the warmth and comfort of them and being surrounded by love and prayer.

The group meets in St. Faith’s Community Hub every other Friday morning.

Support group for mental health and wellbeing based in St. Faith’s Community Hub. A friendly and supportive environment - everyone is welcome and accepted. No need to book - just drop in sessions.

Our music tradition at St. Faith’s is longstanding and remains very popular - our choir meets in church every Friday at 3pm. We have a lot of fun and enjoy singing together on Sunday mornings at the 9.45am service as well as at other times. New members are always welcome. Come and join us - singing is good for you!

Our regular Sunday morning service is Holy Communion. As an LEP we hold Anglican and Methodist services each month with a joint church family. Our worship is varied and joyful - we have a choir and very talented organists who can raise the roof with their playing!

Everyone is most welcome and our stewards will be only too pleased to offer you any assistance you need to feel right at home.

We have a children and families area in church with toys and activities for young children.

St. Faith’s also has wheelchair access.

The first service of the month is usually live-streamed via the St. Faith’s Facebook page.

The regular evening service is on the 2nd and last Sundays of the month at 6.30pm in either the Anglican or Methodist tradition - it is a popular service and all are welcome.

FiSH - Food in School Holidays is on Tuesday morning 28th October!

FiSH will be offering FREE breakfast/ brunch between 9.30-11.30am in the Gaywood Church Rooms, Gayton Road PE30 4DZ.

We will serve a range of cereals, cereal bars, porridge, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, toast, tea, coffee and squash. FREE for children and their immediate families.

Join us this Maundy Thursday for a reflective service of Holy Communion and the Washing of Feet, honoring Jesus' commandment to love and serve one another. Experience this intimate, humbling act of service followed by the breaking of bread followed by a silent vigil as we enter the solemnity of the Triduum together.

Join us for a quiet, reflective and meditative hour of prayer reflecting on Jesus’ last words on the cross.

St. Faith’s regular coffee morning is held in Gaywood Church Rooms next to the church on the first Saturday of the month 10am to 12 noon. In addition to hot drinks, homemade cakes and good company there are also stalls selling craft items, books and food. There is also a tombola stall and raffle. All proceeds go to supporting St. Faith’s.

A warm welcome is offered to people of all ages - it’s a great place to catch up with old friends or maybe meet new ones.

You're invited to our Annual Rectory Garden Egg Hunt! Sun's out, fun's out! A fun-filled activity after the morning service for children and families - explore the garden and maybe even see the Easter Bunny!

Easter eggs guaranteed for every child (and maybe one for the adults too!)

St. Faith’s Youth Group is for 10-18 year olds. This lively bunch meet at 6.30pm on the first Sunday of the month for games, discussions, food and prayer. Join us in the church for a 5 week Bible study on key features from the Gospel of John. A time to connect with others and with the God Book. Everyone is welcome. We meet over a cuppa together.

Each session is autonomous and printed resources are provided so you can come to some or all of the sessions.

The craft group meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month 2-4pm in the St. Faith’s Community Hub. Please come and join us and bring along your art/ craft project, share skills, learn new ones and chat over a cuppa or just come along to pick up new ideas. Everyone welcome.

A Small Light is a bereavement group offering a safe space to share your grief in a supportive community. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month in St. Faith’s Community Hub at 6-7pm.

We hope you will find comfort and support in knowing you're not alone. It is a space for healing and remembrance. We're here to support you on your journey through grief, with understanding and kindness.

We understand how difficult this time is, and we want to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share your feelings and experiences with others who have walked a similar path.

A Small Light provides an opportunity to connect with others who can meet you with understanding, providing friendship, hope, and a sense of belonging during a time of profound sadness.

We encourage you to feel free to share what feels comfortable to you in a compassionate environment, where every voice is heard and every grieving journey is respected.

Diddy Disciples is a creative and playful session for babies, toddlers, and young children in worship and Bible storytelling. We use a variety of methods like songs, movement, stories, and crafts to make faith accessible and enjoyable for very young children.

It’s available in St. Faith’s Community Hub on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 9.45am.

We are delighted that a representative from Age UK will be at the Connect Cafe at St. Faith’s Community Hub on 6th May 10-12noon - to share information and help signpost enquiries.
