Baptisms

We believe that each person is unique and is loved by God.

Baptism (or Christening) is the way we recognise that God loves us and is involved in our lives. Baptism is the sign that we are beginning our Christian journey and are a part of the Christian family.

The birth of a baby is a special event for a family, and Baptism (or Christening) is an important part of the celebration. But baptism isn't just for babies and children. In fact, it doesn't matter how old you are when you're baptised, in the Church of England we baptise babies, children or adults - but if you are too young to know what is going on, then your parents and Godparents make certain promises on your behalf.

If you live in our parish or worship regularly with use and are interested in Baptism for yourself or your child, please contact our Parish Administrator on 07979 871608 (Tues - Fri 8.45-12.45) or Rev Glynn Lautenbach on 07979 151598 for more details.

We invite parents exploring baptism for their children to come along to our main 10am service on Sundays (please check the services page as there are other occasional monthly services parents and children could also attend).
