St Nicolas is an ancient parish church, which is open to change but also values the traditional. As a result there is a careful balance between the use of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and the newer Common Worship services. The formal services of Holy Communion and Morning Prayer are complemented by the less formal Family Services.
St Nicolas' aims to be open whenever possible in the morning (10:30-12:30), and many people avail themselves of the opportunity for private prayer, quiet, and rest.
