Church of England Diocese of Oxford Hinton Waldrist

St Margaret of Antioch, Hinton Waldrist

Welcome to St Margaret's Church!

St Margaret's is a small village church which has been at the heart of its village community since the 12th century, which has a warm welcome and a living faith.

During the present restrictions for Covid-19, we meet weekly online for livestreamed worship on YouTube, and you can find us by searching for the Benefice of Cherbury with Gainfield channel on YouTube. We also have a Facebook account, where we post regularly.

You can find info about and links to everything we do online by going to the Cherbury with Gainfield website.

Or you can sign up to receive our weekly parish newsletter with the Sunday service link.

This page and all our service times will be updated once our churches re-open when the government permits.

Safeguarding

The parish of Hinton Waldrist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
