4th Sunday of the month will be Service of the Word at 11am. This is an evolving service style and is a trial slot for the next 6 months (January -June 2026).
5th Sunday of the month will be a joint service at one of the churches across the Benefice and will be at 10.30am. The next fifth Sunday will be March, and the service will be in Manfield Church.
A Holy Communion service with hymns, readings, a short sermon, prayers and a warm welcome with refreshments afterwards.
Every Tuesday in Barton Village Institute the Mardi Club is held from 10am to 1pm.
This is a well attended free event, donations welcome, where anyone can come for coffee or tea and biscuits and a chat in the warmth and comfort of Barton Village Hall. Do please join us, no need to book.
This is not a 'Church' event, it is run by the people of Barton for anyone in the area who might wish to meet with friends and neighbours.
A light-touch, informal group, we meet over tea and coffee and look at different characters from the Bible/books of the Bible/topics and issues.
At Barton Village Hall downstairs between 2pm and 3pm.
The next four sessions we'll look at Paul, some of his letters, and his thinking.
You don't need to have come before, you don't need to come to every session, everyone is welcome. Bring a Bible if you have one, and Rev'd Gillian will bring the biscuits! Everyone welcome.
Every time there is a fifth Sunday in the month we come together as a Benefice to have a communion service.
