Our Building

We are now a Grade II listed Victorian church built in the Gothic-revival style. We have beautiful stained glass windows and a Father Willis organ. The church is open most days throughout the year for visitors and quiet contemplation.

Music and Worship

The small team of bell ringers practices on Mondays at 6.15 p.m. New ringers are always welcome - no previous experience necessary. Telephone 01423 531261 if you would like to come along and meet us.

Occasionally we hold concerts to fund-raise for church finances. Details are on our website at www.stmichaelsbeckwithshaw.org

We are very fortunate to have a Father Willis built organ which is still in weekly use.

We offer at least one Service each Sunday and depending upon the time of the month the emphases of the services differ to appeal to all tastes from All-Age to Evensong.

Help for Visitors

Information relating to the stained glass windows, the tower bells, the organ and other areas of the church can be found within the church and on our website.

The church is opened on most days throughout the year between around 10.30 and 4.00. Please feel very welcome to pop in and sit quietly for a few moments in your busy day or use the space for quiet contemplation and reflection. Why not combine a visit with lunch at the popular Smiths Arms across the road .........
