Grewelthorpe: St James
We have restarted public services, alongside our Zoom, email and paper services on a Sunday morning. There will be one Sunday and one mid-week service within the benefice for the time being. Do please come and join us, wherever the service may be on a particular day. Please bring a face covering with you, as these are now compulsory in places of worship.
On weekdays we urge you to join us at 11 am each day by praying for a few minutes in your own home. A brief Bible passage and reflection for each day can be found on this site as well as on our benefice website and facebook page.
St James' has now re-opened for private prayer in the daytimes, from Monday to Friday.

The parish of Grewelthorpe: St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
