A weekly cafe in the church hall for anyone who lives in Osmondthorpe, East End Park or the wider community. A drop-in cafe with drinks and food available for free. We ask only for donations. A chance to socialise, meet friends and relax.

St Philip's midweek service is a traditional service of Morning Prayer taken from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. The Psalm and readings are in modern language, but the liturgy we use is from the 15th/16th century - very different to our Sunday worship. This difference makes this service special.
We open church at 9.30am for half an hour of quiet/silent preparation, we then start at 10am.
After the service finishes, about 10.30-45 we then relocate to the Vicarage for tea, coffee and a chat.

This is recovery church! A weekly service of worship on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in St Philip's Church hall, gathering from 6pm for food. Based on the 12-step recovery programme this is a bridge between church and recovery rooms.

Embracing the 12 steps, we are a Christian ministry bridging the gap between the church and recovery fellowships, guiding addicts towards a profound, life changing relationship with Jesus.

We invite you to discover healing, redemption, and a life full of meaning and purpose, through a relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through His Spirit and Word, and the work of the 12 steps.

We are here to support addicts in every step of their recovery process.

Our annual service of the blessing of bags!
This is an all-age intergenerational service at the start of the academic year. Schools head back in the beginning of September, and we mark this transition for the whole church after the restfulness of the summer. Bring your bag, whatever your role in life: shopping bag, work bag, school bag, or even nappy bag!
Through word, worship, prayer and action we'll consider the God who calls us to go out into the world to bless as we have been blessed!

You are invited to a time of worship, prayer and praise. The St Philip's worship band is delighted to have the chance to bless Christians from across the city of Leeds (and beyond) with an evening of celebration and intercession. With a focus on the call to mission, we will come together in order to praise God, hear from him, and be sent out in worship and mission having laid out our petitions and prayers to God.
We launched this service in May 2025 and are pleased to offer this again. All are welcome from any denomination!
