Church of England Diocese of Oxford Watling Valley, Milton Keynes

Watling Valley @ Servant King Church & Community Centre, Furzton

Welcome to Servant King, Furzton!

We are part of the Watling Valley Ecumenical Partnership which is a diverse family of Christians in the west of Milton Keynes, living with love, giving in grace and moving for mission. Our partnership involves the Baptist Union, Church of England, Methodist Church, the United Reformed Church, and this is reflected in the many different styles of worship. We have five church buildings and a church school, ranging in age from the 12th Century to modern day, and some of these also serve as community centres during the week.

We are an open and inclusive church where all are welcome! We are part of the Inclusive Church Network and the Heartedge Network.

Please visit our website for up to date information about all that is going on within the Watling Valley including our online worship.

"The parish of Watling Valley, Milton Keynes is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow have adopted the policy and procedures of the Methodist Church. You can find more information here. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

You’ve heard of drive-in cinema – now for a drive-in carol service!

Come and hear the story of the first Christmas, with some thoughts for today’s world, plus plenty of opportunity to sing carols from the Covid-safety of your own car.

With music from local band TesTamenT and the Salvation Army, this should kick off your Christmas with gusto. The event is FREE although donations to the work of the Watling Valley Churches, who are the organisers, can be made by visiting our website or by contactless card on the night. We’ll also be supporting the Salvation Army Toy Appeal, and there’s even a small prize for the best decorated car.

The event will be live streamed via our Facebook page.

The event takes place in the car park of Niftylift, Chalkdell Drive, Shenley Wood. Pre-booking is required. For more information and to book your space visit our
