Well done to everyone involved in the 5 Folds Way on Easter Monday!

Huge thanks go to the over 50 people who walked, baked, cooked bacon, served water, made tea, drove people to and from stops, or simply turned out to applaud our final arrival!

Some hardy souls walked the full 15 miles, largely off-road, from Northstowe to Swavesey, Over, Willingham, and Longstanton! Others joined us for just a leg or two. Still more gathered to welcome us into their beautiful ancient buildings and places of worship.

Why not take a look at some of the pictures -- of walkers, bacon, views, and architecture --  on the facebook event discussion tab here?

It was such a joy to spend a day in the company of people of all ages, a range of backgrounds, and representing all our villages. Local residents, church members, family and friends set out to explore ancient pathways and make new connections. Indeed, as we walked, talked, laughed, ate together and shared something of ourselves and our villages we became (in the words of a prayer that greeted us at one stop) “strangers no longer — but pilgrims together”.

And now the blisters have healed we hope to do it all again next year! Why not join us?
