Compline Community gathers on Thursday evenings for a gentle, reflective space shaped by prayer, stillness, and conversation. We alternate each week between:

Candlelit Compline — a peaceful, contemplative service drawn from ancient night prayers

Book and Faith Conversations — informal evenings where we explore a thought-provoking book and reflect on how faith meets everyday life

We meet in homes across Northstowe and Over, sharing quiet, laughter, and deep listening. All are welcome — come as you are, and take part as much or as little as you like.

Welcome to the Northstowe Church Network - Pathfinder Church, Little Explorers, the Compline community - an ecumenical partnership of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Church of England, and the United Reformed Church: why not join the adventure?

Those of us gathering as part of this new community in Northstowe come from all Christian traditions as well as those new to Christianity: together we are pilgrims on a journey, asking questions and exploring the connections we find between everyday life and our spirituality and faith. At the heart of all this is a recognition that we are seeking to follow The Pathfinder, Jesus Christ.

What unites us is much stronger than our denominational backgrounds: it is a rooted, growing, and transforming faith based on an encounter with the ancient God who still changes lives today. Our vision is to be people who are praying, exploring and sharing
