Our service at 10.30 on Sunday 13 November will include an Act of Remembrance .

To commemorate the centenary of the Armistice in 2018 Christine Lazenby, one of the regulars at St James', created a booklet cataloguing brief biographical details of all those from the Woodside Parish who were killed in the two World Wars.  Christine has created a walk around the Churchyard at St James' which locates the final resting places of 12 service personnel who died in service of this country.

Each of the twelve graves is marked by a poppy cross and a sign with the name of the service person.  All are invited to take a moment to complete the walk, remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and remember also that God has welcomed them home.
