Welcome!

We are a family of churches who want to get to grips with what the Bible says about who Jesus is and what He means for our world today. We think He is such good news that we can’t keep Him to ourselves. That’s why we long to be the sort of churches that reach out to the city of Bristol.
If you are totally new to church and have all kinds of questions, you won’t be alone. We aim to be churches where people can ask their questions and share their doubts.
See here for details of our regular Sunday services and sign up to receive further information on other activities.
The parish of Emmanuel Bristol is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

St Nicholas Bristol
Bristol
Welcome to St Nicholas Bristol, a vibrant church in the city centre of Bristol led by Rev’d Toby and Gill Flint.
St Nicholas is a space where anyone can come to explore faith in a pressure-free environment, to encounter Jesus for themselves and to make a difference in the world around them. Our vision is to play our part in the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the church and the transformation of society. There is lots to get involved with in the life of the church, join us on Sundays at 9.30, 11:30 and 6.30, sign up for Alpha or connect with a Group. Details of all these things and more can be found on our website, stnicholasbristol.org.

Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
