Times are tough at the moment, and the churches in Birchwood are working together to support our community. If you are struggling for food please get in touch, by private messaging The Church Together in Birchwood (@churchBirchwood) Facebook page, or emailing [email protected]. We would love to supply you with a food parcel that will help you out for a few days at least.

All food parcels will be delivered, using strict social distancing protocols. For the time being, this service replaces the fresh surplus supermarket food that was available from The Encounter Centre and EAT Community Cafe. Food parcels are limited to one per household, per fortnight. You do not need a voucher or referral, but we ask that you only request a food parcel if you are in real need.

To be eligible to receive a food parcel you either need to be self-isolating because of age or health condition and have no way of getting food or have an unexpected change of financial circumstances. You must also live in Birchwood.
