Accessibility

We welcome everyone irrespective of social, economic, cultural, disability of sexual diversities.

We have parking in the grounds with accessible access to the building. There are blue badge parking spaces on the street in front of the Minster managed by the Local Authority.

The accessible ramp leads to the main entrance.

We have step-free access to the main entrance and throughout most of the Minster.

We have a wheelchair available for free use of visitors, kept in the entrance area of the Minster.

We are within 5 minutes walk of Leeds bus station and other main bus stops on Vicar Lane.

We are aware of hidden disabilities and our welcomers are trained in welcoming and supporting all with hidden disabilities.

The Lady Chapel is designated and kept as quiet space. This is also where candles can be lit.

This is located at the carpark entrance, to the West end of the Minster on Kirkgate.

We usually offer free gluten-free biscuits.

Assistance dogs are welcome at all times that the Minster is open.

We have an accessible toilet near the main entrance.

Music and Worship

Award-winning bells and bell-ringers.

We host a wide variety of concerts throughout the year, at least once a month.

Our Harrison organ is highly regarded. Full specification can be found on our website.

Sunday 9am Holy Communion and Evensong on Sunday at 5.30pm and THursdays at 7pm during term-time.

A high quality choir of approximately 30 adults singing a wide range of music.


Groups, Courses and Activities

Are offered during Lent, around Pentecost and in the Autumn.

We are able to sign-post to partner organisations who are able to offer support and guidance.

Bible study

Offered at least three times a year - in Lent, around Pentecost and in the Autumn for 6 weeks at a time.

We partner with "Lighthouse" who offer specialist services for the street community.

We host monthly services for the Leeds Episcopal Area.


Help for Visitors

Informally Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 2pm and for groups, by prior arrangement.

Guide book available for £3.50

Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 2pm and on Sundays for services.

Anyone attending worship or visiting can bring a well-behaved dog on a lead.

Other Features

We are registered as a Pilgrimage Place and offer guides and prayer cards.

Most of our drinks are fairly traded.

We collect for a local foodbank but do not give out food or clothing.

We have projection facilities and large Digital screens.

The Minster is set within a Conservation Area.

The parish is within a designated UPA>

We are registered with Eco Church and actively working towards obtaining our next award.
