Not every child wants noise and bustle. But every child needs spiritual education that is an experience, not just a school lesson. St Lucy's was a growing Christian community linked to St Andrew's Heybridge that was especially accessible to those with additional needs. Our adventure started in June 2019, when we met monthly to encounter God's love and depth in Heybridge Community School. 'Godly Play' allowed all ages to explore scripture together alongside a variety of multi-sensory methods for prayer, worship and discovery.
