Kirkby Malzeard: St Andrew
We are continuing with public worship and are expanding the range of services in our churches, although we are still holding some online services as well.
Wearing a mask in church is no longer compulsory but in most of our churches we are requesting that people still wear them out of consideration for the safety of those around them - that can feel a bit unfriendly, but God is still close to us as we worship.
We continue to distribute orders of service by email or on paper to those who wish to join in worship in those ways. Please contact Ian Kitchen for more information. We also have a weekly Bible Study on Zoom.
A brief Bible passage and reflection for each week can be found on this site as well as on our benefice website and facebook page.
The parish of Kirkby Malzeard with Dallowgill is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
