Choral Evensong - St Giles Church, Newington - 4.30pm Sunday 23rd March. Rev’d Mel writes: “The ancient liturgy of Choral Evensong has lasted through the centuries, and for good reason! In our busy world, Choral Evensong can be an oasis of beauty and peace allowing us to glorify God and to recharge our spiritual batteries.”Our new Sunday afternoon Choral Evensong Services marks the return of Choral Evensong to the Churches in the Eastern Cluster of the Dorchester Team. In coming months, each fourth Sunday will see Choral Evensong in Stadhampton, Newington or Chiselhampton, before returning to Warborough. Please do join us. If you would like to sing in the choir there will be a rehearsal at 3.30pm the service will follow on.
