About Us
Warfield Church charts its origins back to 1016AD when Queen Emma granted permission for a chapel to be built on the site of the present Michael the Archangel Parish church. Today Warfield Church continues to meet at the parish church, but due to our desire to ensure that all our communities have the opportunity to connect to Jesus, we now have three congregations meeting, (as well as using St Andrew's Priestwood for some services and events):
Warfield Church North - St Michael's Church RG42 6EE led by Revd Catharine Mabuza and Revd David Chislett
Warfield Church West - Warfield Church of England Primary School (Woodhurst) RG42 6BR led by David Ritchie
Warfield Church East - Whitegrove Primary School RG42 3QS led by Revd Michelle Porter-Babbage
Here are some details of our leaders at Warfield Church. Warfield Church : Who's Who
We support mission partners all over the world. One Church meeting in multiple locations bound together with a common commitment to communicate the Jesus story.
There are differences in the buildings we meet in and the size of our congregations, but all our services provide a warm welcome, great worship, and relevant talks. There are separate activities for children and young people at our 10.30am services. However, children and young people will receive a warm welcome at all our services.
We would love to see you at one of our Warfield Church congregations really soon.
If you require further information please drop us an e-mail at [email protected] or give us a call on 01344 886900. We look forward to seeing you soon.
