COVID-19 and Church Buildings

The following is information regarding the number of people who can attend life events (e.g. baptisms, weddings and funerals) over the coming months. Please note that this is entirely dependent on the size of the church building, and the capacity to socially distance appropriately within the building. Please also be aware that the following dates are dependent on the government being confident that the country has hit the required targets.

As of 8th March, funerals can have up to 30 mourners, and weddings can have up to 6 guests.

As of 29th March, funerals can have up to 30 mourners, and weddings can have up to 15 guests.

As of 12th April, funerals can have up to 30 mourners, and weddings can have up to 15 guests.

As of 17th April, up to 30 people can attend significant life events.

As of 21st June, there will be no legal limit on how many people can attend life events.
