Celebration of Christmas - Harborough Singers Holby City duo to star: Bob Barrett & Rosie Marcel will star in the Harborough Singers traditional Celebrity Christmas Concert this year. Bob and Rosie both appeared in the long running medical drama Holby City, where Bob played Sacha Levy, famous for his snazzy shirts, and Rosie was the formidable, flame-haired heart surgeon, Jac Naylor. The medical pair will perform the traditional Christmas readings in the choir’s annual concert, which will also feature sensational roof-raising choir and audience carols, as well as exquisitely beautiful singers-only moments. Musical Director is Charlie Penn and the accompanist Andrew King. The concert will take place on Saturday 9th December at 7:30 pm in St Dionysius Church, Market Harborough, LE16 7NB. From a possible Roman shrine to a burial ground in use from the late Saxon period to the 19th century, in this talk Mathew Morris from University of Leicester Archaeological Services will reveal the archaeology found during the recent Leicester Cathedral Revealed project.
