Opening
S. Saviour's is open each weekday morning from around 8.45am to 10am whilst Morning Prayer and Mass are celebrated. The church is then open again in the evenings whilst Evening Prayer is celebrated. If you would like to visit at other times you would be most welcome, if you are travelling please get in touch to make sure someone will be around, if you are just passing feel free to knock at the Vicarage next door and if he is able to Fr Andrew will be more than happy to let you in.
Getting here
If you are coming by car please be aware that the church itself doesn't have a car park. Smallthorne however is blessed with a number of public car parks, the closest of which is behind the takeaway restaurants directly opposite the church. Where possible please avoid parking in the side streets as these are quite narrow and there is not a lot of parking for residents.
If you are driving the postcode for your SatNav is ST6 1NX however that does take you to a pub rather than the church! If you are coming downhill the church is on the right, on the left if going up hill.
There are bus stops close by that provide an reasonably regular service into and out of Hanley, the city centre.
