Venue: St. Mary's Church and Pastoral Centre, Glory Mill Lane, Wooburn Green
Come and join us for Holy Communion followed by a Jacket Potato lunch, so that we can have social time after our service.

On the 4th Sunday of the month we either have a usual Parish Holy Communion service, or our church family take part in a discussion based sermon, followed by Holy Communion, where we encourage all of our children to take part in all aspects of the service.

Venue: St Paul's
A Common Worship Parish Holy Communion service

'Ancestor Cauldron' is the name we give to our Forest Church version of All Souls. We gather around a fire for some prayers at dusk, with water in pots gently simmering away. Each person brings a chopped vegetable ( due to allergies and dietary restrictions, please don't bring meat products, pulses or oats ) and a name (or names) of someone they wish to remember, and maybe a very short story about them to tell as they add the vegetables. After a little time, the stew is shared, sacramentally making each other's memories a physical part of our shared community through the act of eating.

The death of a loved one has a deep effect on who we are and how we relate to our families and communities which can persist for some time. At St Paul’s with St. Mary’s we recognise that a simple service of giving thanks for shared lives can help us through our bereavement. Therefore, we would like to invite you to our All Souls service on Tuesday, 3rd November this year. This is a gentle service of remembrance for the families and friends of those recently bereaved and you would be very welcome to join us at 8pm in St. Paul’s Church, Town Lane, Wooburn. The service is also very suitable for all those of us who have carried grief, maybe for many years, and would find it very helpful to be in a quiet and safe space to remember our loved ones. Grief never truly leaves us, even though its shape may change over the years.

Join our village as we remember those who have fallen in the line of duty.
Refreshments will be available after the service, kindly provided by The Community Church.
