POP-IN

Pop In is a weekly gathering for any age both male and female. We meet every Tuesday in the annexe at St Andrew’s Church from 2 - 4pm. We welcome anyone to join us for a cup of tea and biscuit and sometimes cakes. Each week we have a different activity, from a quiz, bingo, raffle, outings and sometimes a speaker or a film. On the first Tuesday of the month we start with a brief church service.

We enjoy many great activities, for example:
• Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, plus a raffle and an entertainer
• St Valentine’s Day party with balloons and heart shaped cakes.
• Trips to Flowerland, Long Acre and other centres
• We hope to go to Brighton in July.

I hope everyone who comes in each week finds Pop In an important meeting place where there is time to meet others and catch up with news. We have over 20 coming regularly.

If you would like to give a talk please get in touch! Members would love a talk on gardening and perhaps hairdressing. We also appreciate any donations of money, cakes and biscuits for meetings, giving lifts, help with making and serving the tea, stacking the dishwasher and clearing up afterwards.
