A welcoming church with a relaxed atmosphere, situated in the heart of our community.
St John's Welcome Centre is open 6 days each week, with many activities for all ages.
St Johns Welcome Centre is open 9am-4pm Monday to Friday, and the Church area is available during these times
Activities include: Lunchbox Cafe, Crafty Cards group, Slimming World & Weight Watchers groups, Wednesday Drop-In and Gentle Exercise, Community Art Cafe, CHANGES mental health support group, Rising Stars (a club for disabled young people), CAB advisor, and more!
Library books available to borrow whenever the Centre is open.
Hall and a variety of meeting / workshop / teaching rooms available for hire - from hourly rate to longer-term arrangements. Various AV resources available. Catering arrangements possible.
The Church has a long history of relating well to the estate it is set in. Through the Abbey Hulton Partnership we make a significant input to community events and activities, including our current promotion of a Young Savers' Scheme in all four local primary schools to change the culture of money, borrowing and saving.
