It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Lesley Green, who passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 28th December 2025 surrounded by her family, following a short illness. As Lay Reader & Churchwarden of St Andrew's, a dear friend to so many in our church family and wider community, her loss will be deeply felt. Due to her 40 year career at Newport Junior School and also as Guide Commissioner, there are few in Newport who do not know Lesley, or who have not experienced her warmth, friendliness and wisdom. Lesley will be sorely missed. A book of condolence will be available in church from Sunday 4th January - church is open daily from 10am until 3pm. Our thought and prayers are with her family.
