It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Lesley Green, who passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 28th December 2025 in the comfort of her family, following a short illness.

As Lay Reader & Churchwarden of St Andrew's, a dear friend to so many in our church family and wider community, her loss will be deeply felt. Due to her 40 year career at Newport Junior School and also as Guide Commissioner, there are few in Newport who do not know Lesley, or who have not experienced her warmth, friendliness and wisdom.

Lesley will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
