Report of the St. Matthew’s Patronal Festival Weekend:
The celebrations started with visits from the local schools; they presented artwork, and we even had a pilgrimage from St. Matthew’s school.
On Saturday, at our open Saturday, it was so lovely to hear all the chatter at our Vintage tea party, where 70 people attended, including lots of children.
Definitely went down ‘Memory Lane’ with the vintage radiogram playing tunes 🎼🎼
Enid’s 🍰 cakes went down a storm. Thanks to Enid and Beryl for running the stall.
Thanks to Chris and Kay for the wonderful craft ideas. The children had great fun.
We even had Millie the parrot 🦜 join us, which was a first!
And of course, the church was decorated by our wonderful team of flower arrangers.
