Food donations for the Churches annual food bank collection

On Saturday September 12th , St Margaret’s will be welcoming people who wish to come and donate food for the church’s annual Food-Bank Collection. The church is open all day (11-4pm) for donations.
The food collected will be presented at the Harvest Sunday service (the next day – Sept 13th) and then taken to the local food-bank in the next week.
An added bonus is that the church will being decorated in autumnal colours on the day, ready for the next day's Harvest service.
Items You Can Donate are Long-lasting food: Packed goods like rice, pasta, and soup. fresh fruit and veg
Daily essentials: Toiletries and other everyday items people need.
Items You Should NOT Donate - Expired items: Food that is past its due date.
The autumn Harvest Festival is a critical time for charities to stock up for winter.

Welcome to St Margaret's Draycott-in-the-Moors! We have a service at 9:15am every Sunday morning, alternating between Holy Communion (1st and 3rd Sundays) and a Service of The Word (2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays). We would love to see you soon.
