Study the Bible this Lent!

Here at St Paul’s Rev Sue Goodwin will be leading us through Lent as she shares her thoughts on St John’s Gospel and the signs that he accounts.

We’ll be meeting online each week, beginning on Shrove Tuesday, 16th February 2021, and you can join us at 10.30am or 7.00pm - whichever suits you best. We will meet together for about an hour and this time will include a short talk, discussion in break out groups and an opportunity to reflect together. You can join us from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. To book your place and for a Zoom invite please contact us through Messenger, call the church office on 01782 598366 or email [email protected] and please indicate if you plan on attending the morning or evening session, although you can swap between the two if you need to.

Here is the course outline, it would be helpful if you could read through the Bible passage for that day before hand.

Week 1 - Feb. 16th John 2: 1-11. Jesus turns water into wine.
Week 2 - Feb. 23rd John 4: 43-54. Jesus heals the Official’s son
Week 3 - March 2nd John 5: 1-15. Healing the paralytic at Bethesda.
Week 4 - March 9th John 6:5-14. Jesus feeds the 5000.
Week 5 - March 16th John 6: 16-24. Jesus walking on water.
Week 6 - March 23rd John 9: 1-7. Healing the man blind from birth
Week 7 - March 30th John 11: 1-45. The raising of Lazarus

You’ll be very welcome!
