The Retirement of Buckets!

Church_news News_about_our_building
At last our flock of buckets have been retired from the side aisle St. Mary's where for years they have caught the drips from the leak in the gulley between the nave and the side chapel. Les Talbot did a great repair removing the old cracked concrete liner and replacing it with one of more modern materials containing a flexible polymer. There is still lots to be done. We are fundraising to have the church clock faces refurbished in memory of Jean Cooke and Mary Jones, two lovely dear ladies, stalwarts of the parish who loved the church and gave much to the community. I hope you will support us online this. There is a guitar concert at the Village Hall on 6th May to this end…..or you could just give us a donation! With love, Margie Haslop, church warden .
