Saints in the Summer: The All Saints Music Festival
Our Vision
Saints in the Summer seeks to bring top-quality musical acts to the Staffordshire Moorlands and encourage music-making at a local level, bringing life and joy to our town by offering a wonderful grade-I listed building as a space for community and the arts.
History
In 2025, All Saints celebrated 140 years since the laying of its foundation stone (still visible at the far east end of the church). To mark this anniversary, our community put on a 10-day music festival, featuring a wide range of performances from Gilbert & Sullivan's Mikado, to pop music at the piano, organ and choral music, as well as a saxophone quartet.
What's On This Year? This year's Saints in the Summer will take place between 23-26 July 2026.
We're thrilled to be offering audiences a rich selection of musical acts:
Thursday, 23 July, 7.30pm: REVIVAL ~~~ one of the UK's leading ABBA tributes
Friday, 24 July, 7.30pm: DENISE LEIGH ~~~ a night at the opera with the local star of Britain's Got Talent fame
Saturday, 25 July, 5pm: CHORAL DELIGHTS ~~~ a musical journey through the seasons with Omnium Ensemble, including a workshop

What Else Is On This Year?
At the end of May, we were delighted to host a performance of Joseph Haydn's choral masterpiece The Creation, performed by the Phoenix Singers and a line-up of wonderful soloists and instrumentalists from the Royal Northern College of Music, as part of Leek's annual Arts Festival.
Throughout the year, we'll also be welcoming back LUMOS EXPERIENCE, who will be presenting music by Mozart & Vivaldi, as well as some festive Christmas classics. As always, they will be doing so by atmospheric candlelight in the glorious surroundings of our beautiful church.
You'll find more details on their website in due course: https://www.lumos-experiences.com
