The Stations of the Cross in the Church of England are a 14-step (sometimes 15) devotional journey meditating on the Passion of Jesus, often observed during Lent and on Good Friday. They, often found as images within churches, involve walking to14 distinct points to pray, reflect on Jesus's journey to the cross, and contemplate his suffering.
