We are a Church of England parish in the heart of Lichfield.

You will find information about who we are and what we do here on A Church Near You – you are very welcome to come and see. Our churches – at St Chad’s itself and at Elmhurst – are places of quiet and peace where all are welcome.

Our community life is diverse, with a place for everyone. Our services and other activities are based on our main conviction – that God’s love, seen most clearly in Jesus Christ, is for each of us, and that we can enter into a loving relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. You don’t have to be important in the world’s eyes to relate to God. You don’t have to be rich, famous or clever. God welcomes each of us, as we are, and opens up new possibilities for our lives. We are all special in God’s sight and loved.

The Parish Eucharist

Every Sunday at for 1 hour, 10 mins

Sharing in holy communion with hymns, choir, readings, prayers, and sermons in the ancient holy place which is St Chad's church. Refreshments are offered after the service. Our Explorers group meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 10 am Children from age 3-11 are welcome.

St Chad's Well

The Well, in the churchyard outside St Chad's church, is our most distinctive feature and a sign of St Chad's ministry of baptism in this place.
