St. Paul's, Quarnford
Welcome to St. Paul's in Quarnford - also known as Flash Village.
The congregation is small but faithful, and is proud to use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer for its worship. Whilst the parish is properly named Quarnford, the village at its heart is called Flash.
The village has a couple of claims to fame: having been the home of counterfitters in the past, it gave the world the phrase “flashing your cash”; and at 1518 feet above sea level, it is the highest village in Britain – higher even than villages in Scotland!
