Facilities and features

Accessibility

We have a small number of disabled spaces available on a first come, first served basis.

We have a ramp leading up and down to the main entrance of the church. There is a covered walkway at the entrance so there is a height restriction on very high vehicles (i.e moving lorry).

The main entrance, toilets and back seating area (sofas) is step free. There is one small step to get into the pews as the pews are raised slightly. Wheelchair users are able to remain in their chair in the main aisle next to the end of a pew to ensure they are still able to sit with their friends/ family. There are steps to get to the communion rail. Our team will bring communion to anyone who is unable to access the steps to the altar area.

We have a wheelchair that can be used during the service if requested

Cars can approach on the ramp and drop people off under the covered walkway next to the main entrance. Cars must be then removed and parked in one of our parking spaces.

We offer gluten free alternatives during our refreshment times

In line with the Equality Act of 2010 we are happy to welcome dogs who have been professionally trained by a registered charity.

There is a unisex wheelchair accessible toilet at the back of church

Hearing loop

SUNDAY ONLY. For mid week events such as funeral, toddler group etc. parking is incredibly limited. Please ensure you have change to hand incase you are sent to the nearby pay and display car park on Cherry Orchard.

We have a creche room with a live link to the main service that has baby changing facilities in. We also have an additional baby changing area in the wheelchair accessible toilet.
