About Us

St Michael and All Angels, Chetwynd is an oasis of calm, a place to find solace. Our picturesque Victorian building is set in a historic and beautiful, rural Shropshire landscape.

The Book of Common Prayer is used for our Worship where it’s beauty, simplicity and meaningfulness is appreciated and loved by all.

We are a friendly congregation, caring for one another and working in harmony for the well being of the whole. Visitors and parishioners alike are made to feel wanted and welcome.

Everyone is welcome to visit our church – open every Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm during British Summer Time – or to come along to any of our services and events throughout the year.

See our 'Services and Events' & 'News and Notices' for more information.
