Churchyard Policy

The churchyard is consecrated to God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit so it must be treated and cared for in a manner consistent with that consecrated status. 

The memorials in the churchyard must be fitting and appropriate for today and in the future. The churchyard is also to provide peace and welcome those who have been bereaved, extending to them Christ’s promise of victory over death. 

The churchyard must be regarded as a fitting resting place for the mortal remains of their departed loved ones both now and in the future.
