For some years this Chalice and Paten have been on display at St Mary's in Lichfield. From time to time they have made their way back to St Michael's for display or use in special services. Whilst it was no longer the culmination of our 900th anniversary celebrations, the Chalice and Paten were brought from St Mary's and used at Eucharist on Sunday September 27th. You can see a picture of them in the Gallery elsewhere on this website. What a marvellous occasion it was when the Bishop of Lichfield consecrated the elements using these historic pieces.
