Safeguarding at St Michael and All Angels Church, Hamstall Ridware

St Michael and All Angels, in common with the whole of the Church of England, takes safeguarding issues very seriously indeed and adheres to the standard laid down in Diocesan policy which can be found at https://www.lichfield.anglican.org/documents/diocese-safguarding-policy-v1/ Everyone who visits the church or attends a service or takes part in any activity organised the church must feel absolutely safe when doing so.

Our safeguarding officer is Dr Paul Carter who may be contacted at [email protected]

Any one who feels they have a matter to raise in connection with the safety of an individual or group of individuals whether those relate to a child, young person, vulnerable adult or anyone else should contact Paul immediately.

If he is unavailable and the matter is urgent, then please feel free to contact either of the Churchwardens -  Michael Elsom [email protected] or John Ferguson [email protected]

Both the Safeguarding Officer and Churchwardens have undertaken training in these matters appropriate to their roles.
