Begin the countdown to Christmas at our December All Age Service with Fun, Fellowship, Songs, Games and a time to spend with God

St George’s Church invites you to our All-Age Toy Service on 7th December 2025 at 10am where we will welcome the Salvation Army who supports a women’s refuge in Birmingham.

This refuge is currently home to 46 children {41 aged 1-11 and 5 who are of secondary school age} many will have little or nothing under the tree.

We’d like to make Christmas special for the children who are currently in this refuge who may have little or nothing under the tree, so we’ll be taking an offering of toys leading up to and during this service.

WE CAN ONLY DISTRIBUTE NEW GIFTS IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND UNWRAPPED
Everyone is invited to join us for this celebration and if you can bring anything to support these children that would be wonderful.  Alternatively, we’re happy to take any monetary donations, at any service on or  before 30th November and we can purchase gifts on your behalf.

As a church we believe that prayer is of the utmost importance. A Prayer Meeting is held monthly in the Church on the last Saturday of the month from 9am until 10am.  We pray for the national and global church, global events, national events and for our own parish, church and local community.  During the next few months prayer for the appointment of a Rector will be a major focus of our prayers.  The meeting is open to all, and everyone is welcome to join us.
