Our Annual General meeting was held in February. The Committee was re-elected, officers will be decided at the March committee meeting.
The Chairman's and Treasurer's reports were accepted as a true state of the Guild. Following the business meeting a short talk was given by Mark Farrington about the proposed First Responders group.
This is a support system run through the 999 phone ambulance number, covering an area of 5 miles radius from Hixon – so that local people can quickly attend at a local problem. Of course it is a charity and will need to raise money to pay for the vehicle, uniforms and equipment. Also volunteers are required, no experience is necessary, training will be given and a time commitment is asked for. Anyone interested in helping in any way please contact

We meet at 7-30pm every third Wednesday of the month with guest speakers, competitions, refreshments and a sales table.Visitors are always welcome.
