Keeping the Churchyard Beautiful. We have had a dedicated team of villagers to look after the churchyard for many years, and in that time won several awards. There have been a few changes in the team in the past, but we have always managed to cover the job. However, we are now struggling and need a couple more volunteers. The job is to mow a section of the churchyard for about 1½ hours every 2 to 3 weeks in the summer, depending on the weather. We have powered mowers, and the job can be done whenever convenient.
