It was good to welcome all the children from St. Peter’s School to the Harvest Service at St. Peter’s Church. It was so good to hear all of the contributions made by the children to this service. The Open the Book team together with some of the children, presented “The Marvelous Picnic” - a retelling of the story of Feeding the Five Thousand. In this service we were reminded of the importance of sharing, compassion and generosity. I am pleased to pass on thanks from the House of Bread for all the donations that were brought by the children of the school and the Pre-school. The Luncheon Club also very much appreciated the food boxes which were donated to them.
