St Peter’s Church Sort Your Life out cleaning day! On Saturday 6th June, we held our own version of the BBC show – Sort Your Life Out!! And we certainly did not need a Stacey Solomon to guide us when we had the formidable team of Marg Prince, Lorraine Anson, Eileen Anson, Mary Wilebur and Tim Moss!! Items that had not seen the light of day for many years were taken out, dusted off, sorted out, recycled or thrown out. Whilst no one actually, saw The Church Mouse…. there was definite evidence of their existence. The team did good!!! The church looks fabulous. We need to say additional special thanks to Joy, from Joy of Flowers for the beautiful artificial floral displays that now adorn every window alcove along with those behind the alter. Thank you so much Joy. The church was looking and smelling wonderful for our first Sunday Opening Day which continues every Sunday starting at 8-30am. We have provided battery candles, a new visitors book and some prayer cards. This is an opportunity for you to light a candle in remembrance of loved ones, provide a moment of solitude for contemplation and prayer. Please feel free to visit when you can. We would also like to send our thanks to Caroline Highland and Joy for providing the fresh flowers for the Team Church Service which took place on Sunday 14th June. It was so lovely to see the Church so full.
