Welcome to the Parish Church of Saint Mark's, Ocker Hill in Tipton.  

St Mark's is a Church of England parish within the Diocese of Lichfield that looks to the Bishop of Oswestry for Pastoral and Sacramental oversight and we rejoice to be part of God's One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.  

The Church is dedicated in honour of Saint Mark the Evangelist. All Christians are called by their Baptism to follow the Crucified Christ. There are many ways of doing this. Here at Saint Mark's we  hold to the Catholic understanding of the faith as received by the Church of England. For this reason our services are principally Eucharistic, plus there are many visual aids to our worship such as crucifixes, statues, icons, candle stands and paintings, some of which you will see about you as you visit the Church.  

The main service is a Parish Mass at 11 am every Sunday and even if you have never been to church before you would be most welcome to attend and I look forward to meeting you.
