Welcome to the Parish Church of Ocker Hill Saint Mark, Tipton in the Diocese of Lichfield

At St Mark's Parish Church we rejoice to be part of God's One Holy Catholic Church of England. We seek to promote the Unity of Creation, to be and do what God requires, to welcome all who will come and to share what we have received with those around us.

The Church is dedicated in honour of Saint Mark the Evangelist. All Christians are called by their Baptism to follow the Crucified Christ. There are many ways of doing this. Here at Saint Mark's we try to hold to the Catholic understanding of the faith as received by the Church of England. For this reason our services are principally Eucharistic, plus there are many visual aids to our worship such as crucifixes, statues, icons, candle stands and paintings. Some of which you will see about you as you visit the Church.
