There's a thriving Bible Study Group at St Luke's, meeting in the Church Hall on Wednesday mornings, led by Revd Noreen Russell. The group welcomes questions, views and mutual respect.

We are a group of 12-15 people who meet each week in the church hall for Bible readings, a short discussion and prayers at 10 o’clock lasting half an hour. After the service we chat over tea, coffee and biscuits. Do come along and join us we would love to see you.

Last Saturday, 12th October was the Churchyard Awards ceremony at Doxey, Stafford and once again we were awarded a Gold Award plus a Wildlife Friendly certificate. We are very fortunate that we have a small band of volunteers who help us keep the churchyard a special place, but there’s always room for more! If you would like to help in any way do come along to the Churchyard Tidy-up Day on Saturday 26th October 9.00 am to make your churchyard look even more spruce and tidy.
Two hours work produces its own reward but refreshments will be
served at 11.00 am. Please bring your own equipment.

Our Morning Prayer service is based on the Church of England Common Worship services of the word. Most services are projected with PowerPoint and live streamed. We have live music led by the organ and keyboard but we also use modern worship videos. All are welcome to join us in the church hall after the service for tea, coffee and a chat.

This will be a quiet and reflective service that will gather those who have experienced loss, and an opportunity to remember loved ones.

We meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month in the Church Hall from 2-4pm. We have speakers some months, quizzes and bingo plus refreshments and a raffle. The charge is £2.50. We’d love to see you and you’d be made most welcome. We all enjoy having a chat and more importantly, a good laugh!

Our monthly Holy Communion service as based on the Church of England Common Worship. We project the service and stream it live most Sundays. We have live music with Organ or Keyboard accompaniment but also use modern worship videos. Everyone is welcome at the Lord’s Table in St Luke’s even if you merely want a blessing and not partake in the communion. All are invited to the church hall after the service for tea, coffee and a chat.

Come and enjoy a delicious selection of Anthea's home-made cakes with a hot drink and a chat. Everyone is welcome to come along and indulge!
