The dates are 19th, 26th February, 12th, 19th, 26th March at 1pm, but don’t worry if you can’t make them all.
Lunch is followed by a friendly discussion – don’t be afraid that you will be pounced upon to contribute; listeners are welcome too!

A tradition service with hymns, readings and the Eucharist

This year, World Day of Prayer will be held in Kingstone at 3.45pm on Friday 6th March 2026.

It is a wonderful thought that for every moment of 24 hours, this service will be being shared by successive groups as the world turns. From the rising of the sun on the islands of Tonga, the circle of prayer continues until its last light fades from Samoa and the north-west areas of Alaska.
World Day of Prayer is a movement initiated and carried out by Christian women of many traditions. While women, men and children are invited to participate in the actual WDP worship service women have the responsibility for WDP on all levels.
The 2026 World Day of Prayer service has been created by the women of Nigeria.
EVERYONE IS VERY WELCOME
