About Us

St John’s is your local Church of England Church for the parish of Pleck and Bescot. Our congregation includes people from many parts of the world, with many who have lived in Walsall all their lives! All are of course welcome here. We have a warm and friendly welcome for people of all ages, nationalities and abilities. We welcome all who seek God. We are inclusive of all who like to worship and work with us. We know we each have differing strengths of body, mind and spirit. We are glad all are called together as God’s people, to love and to serve for peace and justice in caring for God’s world. We are here for all the main life events, you can get married, be baptised /christened and have a funeral here.
